The Church Commissioners Holding Company, Ltd. is the investment arm of the church.  They are responsible for advising trustees on development and management of church-owned land and property, and launching new income-generating projects.  The Church Commissioners mobilize resources and provide training for dioceses in management of church property while encouraging the use of church credit and savings societies.

The Church Commissioners own real estate and derive income from the rental of those properties. Subsidiary Companies of the Parent Holding Company are:

Uganda Bookshop and the Centenary Publishing House are independent units of Church of Uganda, which aim at generating and disseminating information to the entire church through publishing literature.

Namirembe Guest House provides hospitality for paying guests; accommodates conferences, meetings, and special functions; and offers amenities such as the business centre, restaurant, beauty salon, tours, and gift shop.

Nabugabo Holiday Centre provides a relaxing get-away for family or simple conference facilities for groups in a tranquil and peaceful setting along the shores of Lake Nabugabo.

Church House is a 16-level commercial office building located at Plot 34 on Kampala Road. Construction was completed in 2018.

Rev. Jasper Tumuhimbise was appointed the GCEO of the Church Commissioners Holding Company Limited (CCHCL), effective 1st June 2022.

Rev. Jasper is a priest of the Diocese of Kampala. Most recently, he served as the Church Relations Manager at Uganda Christian University. Prior to his ministry at UCU, he served as the Manager of the All Saints’ Cathedral Building Project (ACP) in charge of fundraising and construction of the new, 5,000 seat Cathedral. He has also served in St. Nicholas Church, Kalerwe, and Stephen’s Kitara Church.

Prior to ordination, Rev. Jasper worked in a senior position in the Inspectorate of Government and later served as the Executive Director of the Anti-Corruption Coalition Uganda.

Rev. Jasper earned a Master’s degree in Ethics and Public Management from Makerere University, as well as a Master of Divinity degree from Uganda Christian University. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Makerere University and a Diploma in Project Planning and Management.

Rev. Jasper is married to Peace Asiimwe. Together they have four children and look after many other children.
