Kagando Hospital in South Rwenzori Diocese features a 250 bed facility with pediatric, male and female medical and surgical wards, maternity, leprosy and tuberculosis units. The hospital conducts nutrition and hygiene clinics, community health worker training, AIDS prevention and treatment, and includes a nursing and midwifery school. The hospital also runs a demonstration farm and community school.
Kisiizi Hospital was established in 1958 and is located in rural south-west Uganda and serves a very poor community with healthcare, hydro-electricity, primary school education and a community health insurance scheme. Rugarama Hospital provides quality health care to poor communities at an affordable cost, through curative and preventive medicine. The hospital includes a nursing school and features a 150 bed in-patient capacity offering services in opthamology, radiology, surgery, pharmacy, and more.
Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau – UPMB Brings together Protestant Churches in Uganda involved in Provision of Health Services. It serves as a link between Government/Development Partners and UPMB-Member Institutions and supports its members through capacity building, coordination, lobbying and advocacy, public relations and translation of government policies.
