Rev. Canon Alfred Muhoozi was elected the 3rd Bishop of North Ankole Diocese on 6th March 2024 during a meeting of the Church of Uganda’s House of Bishops at Lweza Training and Conference Centre.

Canon Muhoozi was born on 9th October 1972 and is currently the Archdeacon of Kinoni Archdeaconry in North Ankole Diocese.

He is married to Mrs. Molly Muhoozi and God has blessed them with four children and two grandchildren.

Canon Muhoozi’s consecration and enthronement will be on 26th May 2024 at Emmanuel Cathedral, Rushere.
