I am Rt. Rev. George K. Turyasingura, 2nd Bishop of the Diocese of East Ruwenzori. I am married to Maama Juliet Turyasingura and God has blessed us with 6 Children.

I thank God who saved me on the 07/07/1989. My Mission of all times is based on Jesus’ transforming Mission in the Gospel according to St. Luke 4:18-21 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor, He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come” 

This is what we have been called for and I pledge to forever spread such Good news of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this ever changing world, to all people of God, like this year’s Provincial Theme says, I encourage you to conform only to the truths of God’s Word, and not the patterns of this world, (Romans 12:1-2). Free from the evil desires of this world and let Jesus reign in your hearts, body and soul and all other things will be added unto you, c.w Mathew 6:33.

I say no to homosexuality, Domestic Violence, Greed, Corruption, alcoholism, adultery, murder, hate, laziness, and anything that is against God’s Law. Let us all strive to do what is right and hate sin so that in the end, we inherit eternal life.
