We thank God for calling us to serve as the first
Bishop of the new Diocese of Central Busoga. We
also thank God for the creation of this new Diocese,
and enabling us to steer it up to this level.
God has seen us grow steadily in ministry starting as
a Church Catechist to this Godly work. It is only the
Grace of God that we have seen and felt the Lord’s
Hands.
A lot of work has since been done and we have planted more churches, many clergy have trained and
ordained, many Lay Readers have been commissioned and Christian fellowships increased. Many churches
have been constructed and consecrated.
We embarked on construction of a 3Bn Cathedral as the one being used currently is no longer spacious
enough to accommodate the growing numbers of congregants. Besides, the current Cathedral having been
consecrated in 1912 makes it largely old and out dated. It is my prayer that God continues to Bless our
Diocese as we continue to work under His Grace from whom we derive the strength (Philippians 4:13).
