I take this opportunity to thank God for His goodness to me, my dear wife Mama Molly and the entire family, especially for the gift of life and His providence since 16th December, 2007 when I joined church ministry and ordained a Deacon, to a priest, Archdeacon and now the Bishop of two months, Glory be to God’s name.

The 15 year journey so far I have taken in Church ministry owes to none other than the grace of God coupled with His inspiration through my predecessors Bishop Emeritus Muhanguzi John and Bishop Emeritus Namanya Stephen who have put together their minds to nurture and gave us a significant role among others.

North Ankole has been like Jesus’ Parable of the Sower in Luke 8:4ff and Verse 8 says “And some seeds fell in good soil; the plants grew and bore grain, one hundred grains each.” And again it is by God’s wonderful counsel and guidance.  For God has seen North Ankole Diocese through thin and thick, we are where we are spiritually and physically by God’s grace.  I pray for His continued support.

It is therefore my considered wish and hopes that we have to build on what is there, make it better and build a Diocese of a difference in the universe. 

It is my earnest appeal to fellow servants of God and the esteemed supporters/Partners in development to convene our efforts and put the future prospects and development plans into a reality.

My further appreciation and gratitude also go to the Diocesan Synod, Diocesan Council, Boards and Committees who form up the system on which the Diocese was and is running. Behind these councils are; the Diocesan Chancellor, the Diocesan Secretary, the Diocesan Treasurer, the Diocesan Missions & Outreach Coordinator, the Diocesan Education Secretary, the Diocesan Health Coordinator and other staff who run different offices, I pray that God rewards and gives them strengths to run an extra mile. 

My prayer and wish for North Ankole Diocese is to continue to grow from strength to strength especially during my tenure and ever more.

Finally, I pledge my prayer, time, support and passionate responsibility towards this great Diocese in the Name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
